CEO, Royal Commission at Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries

Dr. Alaa Nassif is responsible for comprehensive management of the Yanbu Industrial City and Community. Dr. Nassif is also the Chief Executive Officer, Royal Commission at Jizan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI) since 2nd September 2015. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Salford, Manchester, MS from University of Miami and Bachelor’s Degree from King Abdul Aziz University. He has attended extensive Executive Programs at OXFORD University in 2011 and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2014. He is an active member in number of General Tasks, Committees and reputed organizations. 
During Dr. Nassif’s tenure at the RCY, the investment of the RCY completed and ongoing project and Private sector in the city for the last nine (9) years from 2009 to 30 Jun 2018 has increased from SR 174 billion to 249.3 billion. The total Industrial Investment has reached to SR 196.486 billion, as of 30 Jun 2018. The total number of industries from 135 in 2009 has increased to 187 industries, as of 30 Jun 2018. Yielding 122 Projects under construction with the cost of SR 9,650 million.
Before joining the Royal Commission at Yanbu, Dr. Nassif worked with Saudi Aramco in various levels and capacities. Dr. Nassif served as Deputy Dean and as an Assistant Professor at the College of Environmental Design at King Abdul Aziz University. Dr. Nassif also served within the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs of the Jeddah Municipality, successfully achieving many revenue growth projects through investment ventures.
