Azlin has worked in the energy industry for about 16 years, including nine years with Argus Media where she is crude oil editor, covering mainly the Mideast Gulf and Asia-Pacific crude markets. Azlin also spent several years covering the Asia-Pacific oil products’ markets, particularly gasoil and jet-kerosine.
Azlin ensures accurate price assessments and commentaries for the daily Argus Crude report, analyzes price trends, tracks changes and developments in the Asian oil markets and writes market-related features and global market overviews for weekly newsletters such as Argus Global Markets. In the last two years she has worked closely with the Argus Moscow office to analyze and report prices for Russian ESPO Blend crude and has responsibility for expanding daily ESPO Blend market coverage.
Azlin has done TV interviews with CNBC Asia and Bloomberg TV India. Before joining Argus Media, she was senior energy correspondent for Reuters Singapore, handling news coverage for the Asia-Pacific oil and gas industry.
