Associate Researcher and Deputy Director of the CDM Management Center (Carbon Market Management Department) at China’s National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC)

Mr. YU is an associate researcher and the deputy director of the CDM Management Center (Carbon Market Management Department) at China’s National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC). Mr. YU focuses his research on measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of greenhouse gas emissions at national, sub-national, industry and enterprise levels. He is one of the lead authors that drafted China's 24 Guidelines for Greenhouse Gas Emission Accounting and Reporting for Key Industrial Enterprises. He is one of the main compliers of China’s greenhouse gas emission inventories from energy activities for preparation of China's first and second national communications as well as its first biennial update report on climate change. Mr. YU is also an experienced review expert for the technical review of Annual GHG Inventories, Biennial Reports and National Communication on Climate Change by Annex I Parties.
