Mr. Larry Tan, is the Vice President, Chemicals Insight, APAC lead (S&P Global Commodity Insights) based in the Singapore office. He has been in the oil and petrochemical industry for over 38 years. In his current role, he is leading a team of chemical industry experts to deliver quality data, analysis and insights to clients across the APAC region to assist in their growth strategies. 
His previous role in IHS Markit was in chemical consulting. His project focus is varied with expertise in refinery to olefins and aromatics petrochemicals, polymers, and specialty chemicals. He has extensive experience in the development and strategic review of business plans, competitor analysis, feedstock supply strategy, development of sales & marketing strategies, identification of new product opportunities, price forecast and strategies, technical and financial assessment of new ventures/ technologies, and bespoke commercial competency skills equipping training workshops. He is frequently invited to speak at both international and regional conferences.
