Ms. Wei Yang serves as Director of IHS Markit Chemicals, is responsible for managing Pure Specialty Chemical Group. Since 2006, she joined legacy SRIC as market consultant in the Specialty Chemical Update Program (SCUP) primarily responsible for Chinese specialty chemicals research. In her 15 years of chemical research with HIS Markit, Wei has researched on more than twenty specialty chemical industries, including lubricants, lubricating additives, electronic chemicals, catalysts, specialty polymers, cosmetic chemicals, Flavor&Fragrance, textile chemicals.
Prior to joining IHS Chemical (formerly SRIC), she worked with SINOPEC in its Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP). Wei was doing lab research on lubricating oil and grease, acting as project leaders for many new lubricants developing.
