Robert Yang

Robert joined Arkema as a Procurement Director in 2014 and has been responsible for Goods & Service Procurement. He brings more than 25 years of experience in procurement activities, both in terms of operating expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX). 
Prior to joining Arkema, Robert held various senior purchasing manager positions at multiple multinational companies including Veolia Water, Bayer, and Akzo Nobel. With deep understanding in supply chain management, he has managed more than 50 CAPEX projects in the past decade, gaining xtensive experience in procurement strategy establishment, suppler management, cost control, and contract management.
Since Arkema joined TfS, Robert has served as the chair of workstream 1 (Governance and Partnerships) and workstream 4 (Communications and Suppliers Training). Exemplified by these positions, Robert is actively committed to promoting the sustainable development of the chemical industry. In February, 2021, Robert was elected Chairman of TfS Asia-Pacific. 
Robert holds a dual MBA degree from Fudan University and Norwegian Business School. He further obtained a diploma in 2010 from the Advanced Management Program (DIMP) at China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
