Margaret Chen, Chief China Economist at BP (China), joined BP in June 2015. She is in charge of China macroeconomic research, China energy market analysis, and global coal market research. In BP’s Energy Outlook and World Energy Statistical Review, she leads the work on global coal and China regional analysis. Prior, she worked as China economist at a leading investment bank in the U.S.. She has PhD/M.A./B.A. degrees in economics.
