Fu Xiangsheng

Vice Chairman, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation

Mr. Fu Xiangsheng is a native of Shouguang, Shandong. He is Professor-level Senior Engineer. He graduated from Department of Chemical Engineering, Shandong Institute of Chemical Technology (Qingdao University of Science and Technology) as a major in Organic Chemical Engineering. He pursued on-the-job graduate program in the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and majored in Economic Administration, and received Master’s Degree.
After graduation from the university, Mr. Fu was assigned to Ministry of Chemical Industry in 1983. He served as Assistant Engineer and Engineer of Science and Technology Bureau (Science and Technology Division), Deputy Director and Director of Comprehensive Planning Division of Science and Technology Division of Ministry of Chemical Industry; Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Vice President of Photosensitive Chemical Research Institute Affiliated to Ministry of Chemical Industry; President of General Institute of Scientific and Technological Research Affiliated to Ministry of Chemical Industry; Standing Committee Member of Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Haohua Chemical Engineering (Group) Corporation; Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee of China National Chemical Corporation. He was also concurrently Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of China Haohua Chemical Engineering (Group) Corporation. Mr. Fu is currently Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Vice Chairman of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
Mr. Fu is also Chairperson of Chemical Industry Park Working Committee, a consultation expert in the field of industrial economic forecasting and early warning, and an expert of Academic Committee of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation and its subsidiary Strategic Research Institute.
