Yu Xizhi

Employee Director of Sinopec Group and Vice President of Sinopec Corp

Mr. YU Xizhi, professorate senior engineer, was born in 1962. MBA degree from Dalian University of Technology in 1996, and doctorate degree in chemical engineering from Nanjing Tech University in 2005. He is now Employee Director of Sinopec Group and Vice President of Sinopec Corp.

Mr. YU once worked as general manager of Sinopec Anqing Petrochemical Works, president of Anqing Petrochemical Company and Maoming Petrochemical Company, executive director and president of Zhongke (Guangdong) Refining & Chemical Company, head of the Maoming-Zhanjiang Integrated Development Project Leading Group, Managing Director of Human Resources Dept. for Sinopec Group, and Employee Representative of the Supervisory Board for Sinopec Corp. 

Mr. YU has rich experiences in petrochemical production and technical management, experienced in the businesses and operations throughout the whole petrochemical industrial chain, and deep insights into the development of energy and chemical industry. Mr. YU is also an expert who has made great contributions to Sinopec Group. He was once awarded the May Day National Labor Medal, and named as Top Ten Distinguished Youth Entrepreneur of Anhui Province and Outstanding Entrepreneur of Guangdong Province.
