Professor Chu Jian, a Ph.D in Engineering co-cultivated by Zhejiang University and Kyoto University, graduated in industrial automation with a graduate degree, and born as a native of Chun'an, Zhejiang. Chu Jian is a wellknown expert in the field of Industrial Automation, Industrial Internet and Industrial Security in China, and also well known as the founder of SUPCON Group, the company leading Chinese industrial automation, and Ningbo Industrial Internet Institute. In addition, he also acts as ChiefResearcher of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Researcher of Zhejiang University, and Honorary President of Intelligent Manufacturing Institute of Nanjing University of Technology, etc.

Over the years, Prof. Chu was awarded the second prize for the National Award for Science and Technology Progress 3 times, the second prize for the National Award for Technology Invention, Outstanding Young Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Important Science and Technology Plan Projects, etc.
